Manchester United and 10 other Premier League teams will play in the second round of the Carabao Cup.

90 MIN FOOTBALL - The draw for the second round of the Carabao Cup was held on Wednesday, August 13, 2025. In the draw, 11 Premier League clubs already knew their opponents.
Manchester United will travel to the home of League 2 club Grimsby Town. Manchester United will face the second round due to being one of the Premier League teams not competing in Europe in the 2025/2026 season.
The second round of the Carabao Cup will be played on a knockout basis. The competition will involve at least 92 teams from the top four divisions of the Premier League.
Meanwhile, several Premier League teams will face each other in the second round of the Carabao Cup. AFC Bournemouth will host Brentford, while Wolverhampton Wanderers will play West Ham United at home in matches that begin on August 25.
Meanwhile, defending champions Newcastle United will be one of nine Premier League teams to start the Carabao Cup in the third round.
The second round draw was divided into north and south divisions. Single-leg matches will be played in all rounds except the semifinals.
