Donnarumma's agent Reveals His Destination After Leaving PSG
90 MIN FOOTBALL - Italian goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma is almost certain to no longer be playing for Paris Saint-Germain in the 2025/2026 season. This has even been revealed by the player's agent, Enzo Raiola.
Raiola also revealed Donnarumma's next destination next season. Raiola stated that the player will most likely join a major Premier League club.
"The Premier League is very attractive to us. I see many of my clients who play in the Premier League consider being in the most competitive league in the world to be the best move," said Raiola.
Many believe Donnarumma often uses money as a factor in his transfers, including when he left AC Milan. Raiola emphasized that money was not the primary factor.
Regarding the possibility of Donnarumma returning to Italy, Raiola believes that currently no Italian club is financially capable of signing the 26-year-old.
"I wouldn't rule out any possibility, but so far no Italian club has made an offer. Financially, no one has the means to approach Donnarumma," Raiola said.
On Tuesday, August 12, 2025, Donnarumma bid farewell to PSG. He was not even included in the squad for PSG's victory over Tottenham Hotspur in the UEFA Super Cup.
Despite still having one year left on his contract with PSG, Donnarumma appears to have opted to leave. The wealthy English club, Manchester City, is the leading contender for his signature.
Donnarumma joined PSG in the summer of 2021 and has made 161 appearances. In total, he has kept 56 clean sheets and won four Ligue 1 titles, two Coupe de France, three French Super Cups, and one Champions League.

Donnarumma Profile

Gianluigi Donnarumma was born on February 25, 2025. He began to gain attention in the football world when he made his professional debut for AC Milan in October 2015 at the age of 16, making him the second-youngest goalkeeper in Serie A.
Since making his professional debut, Donnarumma has quickly become a world-class goalkeeper. He immediately became the first-choice goalkeeper at AC Milan and is often touted as the successor to Italian legend Gianluigi Buffon.
After enjoying a stellar season, Donnarumma finally left AC Milan in 2021. However, his move to PSG that season ended in controversy.
Donnarumma left AC Milan on a free transfer. Because of this, AC Milan fans were incensed and furious with Donnarumma's actions. He was considered a betrayal of AC Milan.
Not only did he excel at club level, Donnarumma was also a mainstay for the Italian national team. He was a key player in Italy's Euro 2020 victory.
Throughout the Euro 2020 competition, he performed brilliantly between the sticks for Italy. He even saved Italy in the penalty shootout against Spain in the semifinals and England in the final.***
